FAQs

  • We exclusively use Monocure 3D resin. They are Australian owned and made, and produce high quality resin with a variety of properties. We use a mixture of a durable urethane based resin and a flexible resin to reduce breakage in the 10mm scale miniatures. All bases and map tiles will generally use a standard epoxy based resin.

  • Depending on the volume of order, it can take a few business days. If for some reason there is a longer delay than anticipated, we will get in touch with you and let you know.

Any order that requires digital alteration and custom orders will naturally take longer, but we will discuss this as the project unfolds.

  • You sure can! We offer a custom printing service. Either get in touch with us for a quote or visit the Custom Printing page on our sire for more information.

  • We can print your Hero Forge models! We can do this through our custom printing service.

As per the terms and conditions on the Hero Forge website, we are able to print the file on your behalf. The condition being that once we have printed your miniature we are required to remove all associated files from our system.

  • All of the miniatures are cleaned and cured by hand. We do our best to make sure that each one is perfect, but sometimes minor flaws may be present. If you are not happy with the product you receive, let us know and we will ensure that we can arrange a replacement.

  • While we do use a special durable blend of resin for our 10mm miniatures, it is important to remember that resin at the 10mm scale can be quite delicate. We do our best to ensure that each miniature is packaged with care. Unfortunately, we cannot be held responsible for breakages after your item has been delivered to you. However, if there are any breakages in the post please get in touch with some images and we will help you out.

  • When printing in resin, thicker items are frequently hollowed to ensure there is no long term warping due to partially cured resin in the core. As part of the hollowing process, drainage holes are introduced to allow the liquid resin to escape the hollowed area. You can fill these holes with putty if need be. We are quite fond of Green Stuff for this purpose.

  • In the printing process, supports are often required for a successful print. You can remove the supports with sprue cutters. Any bumps can be sanded down.
